Each year the Turn Data Science team submits a technical white paper to KDD* and features their industry leading work as it's applied to digital advertising. Typically, they submit their work in written form and, being humble, don't aspire to share their deep knowledge and expertise outside of the scientific community. Luckily for me, with the 2016 submission, there was a request from KDD to submit a complementary video. I was able to work with the data science team and product manager to break through a very technical submission and simplify their story so that it could appeal to an audience of data mining experts and our customer audience of marketers and brands. 

With this video, we were able to leverage a highly technical explanation of why Turn's algorithms are superior to the competition. This generated interest in the data science community, prospects (new business) and customers supporting upsell opportunities.
